- Download the example of the CSV file by clicking on the test.csv link or create the test.csv file with the following code in it:

NOTE: You are able to view or edit the CSV file in a spreadsheet application, for example Microsoft Office Excel.
- Log in to the administrator panel of your CS-Cart and click on the Import link in the ADMINISTRATION side box on the right.
- Click on the Products tab.
- Specify the following settings under the Import options section:
- Language - select English.
- Category delimiter - leave /// in this field (it is entered by default).
- Images directory - do not change the value of this field.
- Files directory - do not change the value of this field.
- Delete all existing product files before import - do not select this check box.
- CSV delimiter - select Semicolon.
- Select file - select the downloaded (or created) CSV file by clicking on the Browse button.
- Click on the Import button.
- After that the test product product will be imported into your store under the Books/Children's Books category. Please check it on the Manage products page (the link to this page is in the CATALOG side box on the left). The product will have the size and color options with different variants, the Format feature with DVD value, the secondary categories: Books///Computers & Internet, Computers///Monitors & Projectors, Computers///Desktops
