- Log in your administrator panel and click on the click on the Promotions link in the CATALOG side box.
- Enter the name of the promotion into the input field in the Promotion column in the Add new promotion form and click on the Add new button.
- Click on the details button of the promotion.
- Open the Conditions tab.
- Select Spent money in the Condition column of the Add conditions form.
- Enter the condition name in the Condition name column and the desired amount of money, that should be spent, in a new input field.
- Click on the Add new button.
- Open the Actions tab.
- Click on the Hide/show product search section link in the row of the Free products option, find and add a product which will be free.
- Select the check box in the Avail. column.
- Click on the Update button.
- Open the Condition rules tab.
- Select the created condition in the first select box.
- Click on the Save condition rules button.
