- Log in your administrator panel and click on the click on the Promotions link in the CATALOG side box.
- Enter the name of the promotion into the input field in the Promotion column in the Add new promotion form and click on the Add new button.
- Click on the details button of the promotion.
- Open the Conditions tab.
- Select Spent money in the Condition column of the Add conditions form.
- Enter the condition name in the Condition name column and the desired amount of money, that should be spent, in a new input field.
- Click on the Add new button.
- Select Necessary membership in the Condition column of the Add conditions form.
- Enter the condition name in the Condition name column and select the check box of the desired membeship.
- Click on the Add new button.
- Open the Actions tab.
- Enter the desired amount next to Gift certificate to the amount of.
- Select the check box in the Avail. column.
- Click on the Update button.
- Open the Condition rules tab.
- Select the first condition in the first select box and select Add new condition in the second select box.
- Click on the + button and select the second condition in a new select box.
- Click on the Save condition rules button.
- Set a gift certificate status for every order status:
- Open the Order statuses page (the link to this page is in the Orders sidebox).
- Select the desired status in the Change gift certificate status to option for all order statuses. For instance, select Pending for the Open order status and Active for the Completed order status.
- Click on the Update button.
