Product options

To set up product options:

1. Click on the Manage products link in the CATALOG side box on the left of your administrator panel.
2. Click on a product name link and then on the Product Options tab.
3. Fill in the Option name (e.g. Size) and the Description (e.g. Select a size) input fields under the Add product options section.
4. Select the type of the new option in the Type select box next to the previous input fields.

   NOTE: There are the following types of options available in CS-Cart:
   - select box;
   - radio group;
   - check box;
   - text;
   - text area;
   

5. If the option type is select box or radio group, then below the entered name fill in the Variant name input field (e.g. large), in the Modifier input field next to it set the price that will be added (if this option is selected) to the product price. To add more variants click on the Add empty item button next to this row.
6. After all variants are filled in click on the Save changes button at the bottom.
7. Click on the Option combinations button that is under the Product options section on the Product update page.
8. There should be a list with combinations of all product option values on this page. If there are no option combinations defined on this page, click on the Rebuild combinations link or add combinations under the Add new combination section manually. After that you can enter product code and upload small and detailed images for each option combination .

The added product option will be displayed on the product list and product details pages in the storefront.

Also you can set up the global product options.

NOTE: You are able to add Options for a product using the import option. The description of the correct format can be found in the Imported fields format article.
