Why the realtime shipping method is not displayed
We no longer maintain the Knowledge Base since version 4.3.x. All the latest user and developer documentation for 4.3.x and newer versions is now available at docs.cs-cart.com.
To display the realtime shipping method that was set up:
- In the administration panel, go to Administration > Settings > Shipping settings.
- Check whether the real time processor you use is enabled in the Shipping processors section on the opened page.
- Check whether the account information was set up properly in the tab of this shipping processor on the same Shipping settings page.
NOTE: Make sure that the Test mode check box is not selected. Realtime shipping services allow to execute only some special requests when the test mode is enabled.
- Open the Shipping/taxes tab, click on the Shipping methods link and click on the edit link of the used shipping method.
- Check whether the suitable shipping service was chosen in the Shipping service: option on the details page of the shipping method.
- Check whether the weight of the products which will be shipped using this shipping method is defined on the product details pages.
- Open the Catalog tab and click on the Products link.
- Find the product which will be shipped by this shipping method and click on its link.
- There should be some value (which is more than 0) in the input field of the Weight (lbs): option.
- If you set up USPS shipping method check that the user ID is confirmed.
- Call 800-344-7779 to confirm it.

- Check whether the account information was set up properly in the tab of this real time shipping method on the Shipping settings page.
NOTE: Make sure that the Test mode check box is not selected. Realtime shipping services allow to execute only some special requests when the test mode is enabled.
- Check whether the suitable shipping service was chosen in the Shipping service: option on the details page of shipping method (click on the Shipping methods link in the SHIPPING/TAXES side box, click on the Edit button of the shipping method). It should be illuminated with some color.
- Check whether the weight of the products which will be shipped using this shipping method is defined on the product details pages.
- Click on the Manage products link in the CATALOG side box.
- Find the product which will be shipped by this shipping method and click on its link.
- There should be some value (which is more than 0) in the input field of the Weight (lbs): option.
- If you set up USPS shipping method check that the user ID is confirmed.
- Call 800-344-7779 to confirm it.

- Call 800-344-7779 to confirm your ID.
If the realtime shipping method is not displayed:
- Go to Administration → Shipping & Taxes → Shipping methods and click on the name of the used shipping method.
- Check whether the suitable carrier is chosen in the Carrier option.
- Check whether the suitable shipping service is chosen in the Shipping service option.
- Check whether the information was set up properly in the Configure tab.

- Check whether weight of products to be shipped with the realtime shipping method is defined on product detailed pages:
- Go to Products → Products.
