Setting up the 'Gift certificates' addon

  1. Log in your administrator panel and click on the Addons link in the ADMINISTRATION side box on the right.
  2. Select the Gift certificates check box.
  3. Click on the Update button.
  4. Open the Gift certificates tab.
  5. Set up the desired options.
  6. Click on the Update button.
  7. Click on the Gift certificates link in the ORDERS sidebox.
  8. Click on the Gift certificate statuses link and set up the desired statuses.
  9. Click on the Order statuses link in the ORDERS sidebox or on the Status of purchased gift certificates link on the Gift certificates page.
  10. Select the desired status in the Change gift certificate status to option for every order status.
    For example: If the Cancelled status is selected in the Change gift certificate status to option for the Cancelled order status then an order of a customer will have the Cancelled status, a gift certificate will have the Cancelled status.
  11. Click on the Update button.
